Description: This blend was made for Mamas in labor. It will bring on a boost in energy when the constant contractions begin to wear you down. Or when the Braxton Hicks contractions have been non-stop. The essential oils have been blended in Jojoba oil, which is more like the oil of our own skin than any other vegetable or nut oil. It is incredibly nurturing and safe oil. The essential oils in this blend will increase the blood flow through out your body, which will release the built up fatigue in your muscles, and give you renewed energy and strength to continue with your labor. Moving the blood around in your body will also assist your baby in maintaining its energy during the birth process. Many of the essential oils also have properties that will assist your labor in progressing. |

Instructions: Have your support person rub this oil down your spine, one your gluteile muscles and thighs, and anywhere else that feels taxed and tired. Communicate with your support person so that they know the right pressure to use and so they rub the oil with the speed that works best for you. As you breath this oil into your system imagine your cervix opening with each inhale and your baby’s head descending with each exhale…this will also assist your labor in moving forward. If you are having a water birth try to only get trace amounts of the essential oil blends in the water. You can do this by putting the oil on when you are out of the tub. Or if you feel you need it while you are in the tub, just inhale it off of a cotton ball or have your support person put it on their arms or shoulder so you can smell it off of them. Or you can put it on parts of your body that are not immerged in the water, the essential oils will still work throughout your body. Once the oils are absorbed into your skin it is fine to put that body part in the water. New babies don’t need to be exposed to any foreign substances. I wish you a safe and fulfilling labor! |
